Bob has been an ordained minister in the PCA since the 1990s and helped plant Roosevelt Church when they met on Saturday nights for Bible studies in 2003. He has a M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary and a B.S. from Arizona State University. His previous ministry experience includes planting a church in Rhode Island where he pastored for five years and serving as an elder in Camelback Bible Church, the mother church to Roosevelt Community Church. Bob is also an owner of Eaton-Cambridge Inc. and practices as a Family Wealth Counselor helping Christian families with family and financial estate planning.

Having grown up in a non-Christian home, Bob encountered Jesus and became a Christian at age 19. He quickly grew in his faith through his local church and the ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He married Jayne in 1976 who was a wonderful life partner, mother of their four children, and a vital part of his ministry until her death after 27 years of marriage. Bob married Ginger in 2005 and together they are very involved in the lives of their many children: Scott (wife Lindsay and granddaughter Tenley), Lisa (husband Sean), Dawn (husband Adam and grandson Caleb), Kristine (husband Aaron), Jim (wife Janelle), Melody, and Christy.
