Women, are you tired of (fill in the blank)?

Ready to be More than Conquerors?

I have lived through women’s lib, burning the bra, and now, once again, there is a war on women. Why, after all the gains in women’s rights, are women, especially Christian women still so unhappy? Why are the divorce rates, depression rates, and teenage pregnancy rates the same in the church as in the World? Why do dialogues, behavior, and arguments between those in the world look and sound the same as those in the church? Why do children raised in the church, leave the church when they are grown? Why are you unhappy?

“Steal their joy, passion, heart, mind, life. Attack their families and everything they hold dear” (see note 1 below). Many women are so distracted that they never learn how to pray with fervency! Are you ready? To enter the battle to which you have been called to? Then you want to read FERVENT, written by Priscilla Shirer, who outlines ten strategies that enemy uses to steal, kill, and destroy. And she offers weapons to fight back, weapons that work by using the POWER OF THE WORD, through prayer.

Why do many women lose their passion, their joy, their confidence, and blame it on numerous trials: going through the “empty nest,” experiencing a “mid-life crisis,” dealing with their past or their spouse or their depression? Are we not more than conquerors (Rom 8:38)? Worse yet, why have they never found their passion, purpose, or their joy and have wrestled all their lives with broken relationships, feeling lost and lonely? Why can women not choose to be happy, to let go, to choose joy?

It’s simple: the enemy has targeted its ploys in dividing nations, races, families, and churches. And now it’s prime focus is aimed at women. The plan is to steal their joy, destroy their homes, minds and hearts. How? Through distractions, using specific strategies that affect all women. For example, making sure that women stay busy! By making sure that there is someone or something else to blame for their unhappiness. By stealing your joy! By keeping them so distracted from doing the things that make them a good mother, worker, wife; doing things for the church; on and on. So, busy and distracted that they never REALLY learn how to pray. How to use the POWER of the Word to Pray, the power of using the name of JESUS.

Many women have never learned how to be a warrior in this realm, fighting against principalities and powers, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places (Eph 6:12). It’s simple: keep women busy, make them believe they have so much to do that there is no time to be discipled (mentored). No time to learn how to enter a war room. No time to learn how to use the Power of God’s own words to attack their feelings and issues.

And sisters… this too: learning how to pray, learning how to fight, learning to find your joy again, learning to be a prayer warrior: You don’t do it alone. You do it by the mercy and grace of God…”For I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. (Phil 1:16).
