#WHEREWEREYOU #RCC CHALLENGE by Kirsten Snyder

Sep 10, 2018

Shout-out to Andrew Soto for blessing me with this song. I love it. Some songs hit perfectly on the human struggle and how great God is, basically the sum of life on earth! (My favorite verse is 1 Cor. 13:12). This is one of those songs. It’s great.

One of my favorite places to be is in the ocean. I love bodysurfing and have biffed it a fair share of times in the water. There is something about swimming past the break, fighting the riptide, trying to get on top of the wave before it crashes, hoping you timed it right and the wave isn’t stronger than you anticipated or, if it is, hoping that you can pull out of it without rolling and getting pounded into the wave or to the bottom of the seafloor. In that moment of waiting and hoping and riding, there is a simultaneous rush of uncertainty and trust. Uncertainty in myself coupled with trust in the One who created the waves and me. Even when I biff it.

I’m issuing a #wherewereyou challenge. Post up a picture on social media where you have experienced how big, how present, how awesome God is. Tag it with #wherewereyou #RCC
